Tuesday Post Show- Upgraded

Today I am feeling awful and now have developed the flu. But I still came in for rehearsals because the show must go on!!
Lauren and I  took in what Rachel said yesterday about our songs and we stole the stage for a little bit and run through our songs and perfected them, so they weren't as messy as they were yesterday. Lauren and I felt happy with our 'It's a Kind of Magic' song, we then decided to run through 'Another one bites the dust' song, with the Yuppies.
We then created the Killer Queen Cart with fabric, and started to make the background including love hearts and glitter, for the fabulous look for Killer Queen.

I had to leave college due to an doctors appointment as I am ill. My mum rung me as she has been in hospital recently, so I answered to make sure was okay, but I just broke down in tears, As I feel really isolated from the class and the team. I told my Mum how I was feeling, and how alone and upset I was, and she was really concerned about my health and myself so she rung the doctors.
 This is not to anyone in particular. I let Rachel know that I was a little stressed about my situation outside of college a week or two back, as I have done throughout this year. As it is coming nearer and nearer to the show I think everyone is under a lot of pressure, so I felt their wasn't a lot of support their for me at this particular time.

I came back into the class after I had spoken to my mum and finished off getting notes and collecting the missed out off of other people in the class. I then left college to go to my appointment, thinking I was going to come back to finish our cue to cue run through, but I got really upset in the appointment and I just came home a slept. Charlotte rung me to ask where I had gone and if I was okay, as Rachel was wondering where I had gone.

We ran scenes.

• Act 1 - Prologue - Stewart and Josh, the guitar timing needs to be practised and sorted for them. 
• Scene 1 - The Laser Cell - Rachel and Kim has invested in a new piece of lighting equipment, which is a laser light. We need to now use this new light in the evil scenes, that involve Killer Queen and Khashoggi. Their has been a suggestion that the laser light will be placed on a chair. 
• Scene 2- High School- Ga ga Kids need to rehearse there lines and make sure they are all in unison, as they are all brainwashed. --Scaramouches song 'Somebody to Love is performed with the Teen Queens, and they don't like each other so there needs to be a more anger and negatively towards eachother, using movements, body language and facial expressions. 
• Scene 3- Killer Queen- The Teen Queens need to learn the lyrics for the Killer Queen song, and sing with confidence. As they have been brainwashed they also need to have no expression on their faces. We still need to work on the entrance for Killer Queen, as I and Charlotte are being pushed on a platform around the performance area. 
• Scene 4- Laser Cell- The Cops for both opposite costs, need to rehearse lines with Khashoggi for cues.
• Scene 5- Police HQ- Bikini Wax Scene needs to be projected on to the big screen, so that the Khashoggis' can practise with the timings. 
• Scene 6- The Hospital- This scene needs to start off with more confusion and nerves and lead relax and confident, as Scaramouche and Galileo have only just met.
• Scene 7- Killer Queen Control Room- The joke lines in this scene need to have a pause on the end of them, so that the audience know that it is a joke and have time to laugh. Otherwise it will not be portrayed so easily.
• Scene 8- Wasteland- The entrance for Meat and Brit needs to be bigger and exaggerated.
• Scene 9- Underground- Needs more interaction with each other. 
• Scene 10- Heartbreak Hotel- Bohemians need to look scared and start to become very quite when Khashoggi appears on stage, as the lines will not be heard of the Bohemians. 
• Act 2 Scene 1- Car- Ga ga Kids need to work on lyrics for the songs and the choreography. 
• Last Scene of Act 2- Bohemians need to be more 'zombiefied' and brainwashed. Organised for props to be clear during the interval for the Heartbreak Hotel.

 So after had received notes from our class discussion, I spoke to some students in the class for some of the notes I had missed due to a phone call, and collected those and went to my doctors appointment.

As I received a phone call from Rachel that evening was I confused whether I was still being aloud to be in the show. I still carried on completing my blog and updating it, and reminding myself of important changes and choreography.
